Butterflies

While in the various parts of India that we visited, I snapped some butterflies, though one in particular eluded me, a mostly white beast, with a yellow area of wing from the base of the thorax, with an orange area outside of that.  Just wouldn't settle though, these however did:

This last one looks very similar to butterflies in the UK, I wonder if it's a common species?  Anyway back to our travels...
